Senior Nurse (SMI)

Job summary

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to come to Jersey and be a part of the Adult Community Mental Health Team as the senior nurse lead for our SMI pathway.

As a senior member of staff you would be in charge of the operation of the Clozapine and depot clinics, as well as delivering a high standard of care for a caseload of patients and supervising junior staff.

You will be responsible for ensuring that patients with SMI are receiving their anti-psychotic medications in line with NICE guidance and receiving the required monitoring, as well as supporting the development of interventions for this client group.

You will ensure all clinics and consultations are delivered in a clinically effective and timely way, and implement strategies designed to promote & improve health, including the overseeing of the co-ordination of the team involved in delivering the clinics.
