Respiratory Specialist Nurse Grade 5 Developmental

Nurse Specialist to join our healthcare team for a 12 month period to cover a period of leave. The role is predominantly community based with in reach to our acute unit in the JGH.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse to further develop their career within the respiratory team, with in house training and development to progress from a Grade 5 specialist nurse to a Grade 6 specialist nurse.

Responsibilities will include:

Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans for patients with respiratory conditions.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory management.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in respiratory medicine and share knowledge with

colleagues.

Assist in the implementation of respiratory care protocols and best practices.

Participate in patient advocacy and provide emotional support to individuals facing respiratory diagnosis and challenges.
