Grade 5 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse

Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) is a 25 bedded unit; The AAU team work closely with the Emergency Department to treat a variety of patients in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to take charge and coordinate the flow of patients throughout the unit and further into the hospital some days and others remaining confident in your clinical skills of managing an acute patient caseload. AAU has a 5 bedded Enhanced Care Unit which manages care for Level 2 patients who require NIV and cardiac monitoring.

We are looking for someone to build our senior team of nurses with a motivated individual who is ready for a challenge. We endeavour to provide our patients with a high standard of patient care and require someone with excellent clinical and communication skills along with strong leadership qualities. Successful applicants would act as a role model for the team and provide support to both senior and junior members of staff whilst sharing knowledge and experience to help develop others.
