Medical Day Unit Staff Nurse

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our small team within the medical day unit as an experienced nurse. Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse with a passion for patient care in an outpatient setting? We’re looking for someone like you to be part of our dynamic team. Key responsibilities will include booking and triaging patients, administrating intravenous medication, assisting with clinical procedure and monitoring vital signs. Essential skills are venepuncture and cannulation. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills to ensure collaborative multidisciplinary team working to provide excellent patient care. This is also a great opportunity to work alongside various specialities therefore, enhancing your clinical knowledge. Training and development opportunities will be available through our on-island nurse education and ad hoc training within the unit.
