Nurse (Occupational Health)
he selectee will serve as a Nurse (Occupational Health) in the Office of Human Resources, Safety, Health, and Environmental Programs Division. Typical work assignments include:
- Providing leadership, expert advice and direction on Occupational Health program requirements and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Securing health and medical history from patient’s records, research findings and constructs clinical/medical evaluation reports.
- Performing initial work-up and assessment of patient’s care and treatment; determines need for laboratory tests, X-rays, and other medical procedures after consultation with appropriate medical staff.
- Serving as an agency liaison in responding to information requested by the Department of Labor and Office of Personnel management regarding employee’s medical treatment, disability, and case management.
