Europe is a continent located entirely in the northern hemisphere and in the Eastern hemisphere with over 746.4 million population it is one of the best places to practice nursing. For weeks, Spain and Italy were epicenters of the COVID-19 pandemic. Which caused huge stress over healthcare professionals especially nurses. Nurses are a key profession in this fight, closely monitoring their patients, administering their treatment, encouraging and soothing them. The northern and central European countries had many more nurses than did southern European countries before the covid -19 pandemic and now the figure is not the same. Nurses are in high demand in Europe. There are many vacancies in the post of nurses. To work as a nurse a person will need at least an ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or a (BSN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing. You’ll also need to pass your National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX-RN).

According to a survey in Italy, the number of nurses and midwives has only increased by 15 000 over this period. Italy would need to add between 53,000 and 54,000 nurses. The number of people joining nursing is increasing over the years.
